If you have never been to Europe, or would like to see more of it, then this is the tour for you. Just imagine, you will be able to travel through six countries visiting the most exciting cities in all of Europe. One of the highlights will be visiting the Watchtower Branch Office in Selters, Germany. Breakfast is included daily plus five dinners. The tour takes 13 days with a tour escort who travels with you for the entire trip. This is the most comprehensive tour available for the price with your choice of dates. DAY 1 Depending on your departure city, everyone will fly overnight on various flights to FRANKFURT, GERMANY. Dinner will be served followed by a movie and a few hours of rest as you cross the Atlantic Ocean to begin one of our most popular tours that you will long remember.

DAY 2 Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for the first two nights in Frankfurt. Balance of this day will be free to start exploring this German city. Tonight there will be a “Welcome Dinner” including wine with an opportunity to meet all the other friends from various parts of the country who will be traveling with you on this tour.

DAY 3 Breakfast is at leisure and then later this morning, you will board our motorcoach for the one hour drive to SELTERS, GERMANY. The afternoon will be spent touring the beautiful Watchtower Branch Office that is now the largest branch in all of Europe. (See Awake, 3/8/03, p. 22)

DAY 4 Following breakfast, everyone will board our motorcoach to visit the medieval walled city of Rothenburg on the River Tauber. Your tour escort will take you on a walking tour of this quaint historic town. Continue along what’s called the “Romantic Road” to lively MUNICH for a tour of the city to see the walking square of Marienplatz and the famous Glockenspiel. Dinner is included at the hotel and then you can visit the Hofbrauhaus for a fun evening at one of the largest beer halls in the world including a Bavarian band.

DAY 5 Today will be a day to remember as you depart on a spectacular scenic drive through the Alpine mountains to the city of INNSBRUCK, AUSTRIA for a tour of this capital. Continue on to the Brenner Pass and the Italian border through the glorious Dolomite Mountains before arriving in the unique canal city of VENICE, ITALY. Tonight, a delicious Italian pasta dinner is included at your hotel.

DAY 6 Today you will visit the world’s most extraordinary and romantic city. Built on 114 islands, Venice is one of the most beautiful cities in the world as no cars are allowed. Instead, gondolas and motorboats are used as taxis for transportation with over 150 canals used as streets. (See Awake, 5/22/04, p. 16) You’ll enjoy a motor launch that will take you along a series of canals to the majesty of St. Mark’s Square. There will be a walking tour of this famous city on an island including a visit to a glass-blowing workshop to witness this ancient craft.You will then have some time to enjoy the attractions of Venice before returning to the mainland. Later, your motorcoach will cross the Apennine Mountains and then stay overnight in the renaissance city of FLORENCE where you will find great buys on leather, shoes, gloves, handbags, scarves and ties.

DAY 7 This morning there will be walking tour to see the highlights of Florence including Giotto’s Bell-Tower, the Piazza Signoria and the resting place of Michelangelo as well as many other great artists and scientists. Next, your motorcoach will continue through Milan into the Italian Lakes areas past Lake Como and into Switzerland. You will have plenty of opportunities to photograph views of the Swiss chalets and the stunning Alps. Arrive LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND, one of the prettiest cities in Europe that will be your home for two nights. This evening, dinner is included at the hotel.

DAY 8 Your tour escort will show you the highlights of this world renowned resort city. There will be plenty of time to shop for Swiss watches and chocolates or take an optional cable car ride to the top of a mountain peak.Tonight, another delicious Swiss dinner is included at the hotel.

DAY 9 Today it’s more picturesque Alpine scenery as you drive to the French border. See acres of vineyards in the wine-producing region of Burgundy as you approach PARIS, FRANCE, the “City of Lights” for two exciting nights.

DAY 10 Following breakfast, you will tour Paris and see such famous sights as the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, the Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral, the river Seine and much more. One of the highlights will be taking an elevator to the second level of the Eiffel Tower for a fantastic view of Paris. Balance of the day and evening will be free to visit the Louvre Museum, shop or take a tour to the magnificent Palace of Versailles. Paris is known for its sidewalk cafes plus there are more perfume shops here than anywhere else in the world.

DAY 11 Another scenic drive through France to the English Channel. Here you will admire the White Cliffs of Dover as you cross the channel by boat and then continue through the English countryside to LONDON, ENGLAND, where you will stay for the last two nights.

DAY 12 Today you will see London’s greatest sights such as Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Piccadilly, Tower Bridge, Big Ben beside the River Thames, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Trafalgar Square. Balance of the day free to take a ride on a double-decker bus, visit the British Museum, Harrods department store or you can take the train to visit the Watchtower Branch Office. In the evening you may want to visit an English pub for some fish and chips and perhaps attend a London play. (See Awake, 10/06, p. 15)

DAY 13 Transfer to the London Airport for the return flight to the USA. Touring with friends from other parts of the country is something you will not forget as you have now seen the Best of Europe!
