Fall
Foliage Cruise plus Bethel Tour
Tour
#10
September
27-October 4, 2008
This
is the seventh year we are offering a FALL FOLIAGE CRUISE, so you can
enjoy the beautiful colors of fall. This one-week cruise is on one of
Carnival’s largest ships, called the “VICTORY” that
includes all meals, entertainment and a variety of activities. Most
of all, you will experience a northeastern autumn when the trees are
bright red and the warmth of summer is still in the air. You will enjoy
visiting the exciting ports of BOSTON, massachusetts, and PORTLAND,
MAINE and then cruise to CANADA to visit ST.JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK and
HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA. There will be plenty of fun things to do on board
this floating resort including spectacular views along the coastline
of New England and Canada. Be sure to bring plenty of film to capture
nature’s brightly colored flowers and trees. There will be three
options you can choose from on this cruise:
(Option 1) You may take
the Seven-day Cruise and pay as little as $399 per person
plus tax. If needed, round-trip transportation from either Newark or
La Guardia Airport to the ship is available for an additional $80 per
person.
(Option 2) After the cruise,
you can include the six-day Bethel Tour as described on our Bethel Tours
page
(Tour #1). The total cost depends on how many persons are sharing a
cabin, plus the cost of the New York Bethel Tour as indicated on Tour
#1, departure cities to New York. By checking the price of the Bethel
Tour from your city, the additional cost for the cruise is based on
how many persons are sharing either an inside, outside or balcony cabin
as indicated on the left hand side of this page. Transportation to and
from the cruise ship is an additional $80 per person. This is a great
way to see Bethel and take a cruise at the same time.
(Option
3)
After the cruise, you can include the six-day Bethel Tour plus take
the three-day extension to Washington, D.C. The total cost is listed
on the New York & Canadian Bethel Tour page, Tour #2.
Each evening, dining tables are reserved just for our group to get acquainted
with other friends. Have breakfast in your cabin or the dining room.
For lunch, it’s the Pizzeria, New York Deli, Hong Kong Noodle
Shop or Coney Island Grill. Each night is a five-course menu starting
with a shrimp cocktail or escargots, plus soup and salad. For the entree,
it’s fresh fish, a steak, rack of lamb or even lobster. For dessert,
don’t miss the Cherries Jubilee or Flaming Baked Alaska. Cruising
is one of the most inexpensive vacations, as everything is included.
There will also be several friends from other parts of the country that
will be sailing on this one week cruise. Make reservations NOW as last
year’s cruise was sold out.
NEW YORK... Known as one
of the most famous cities in the world. Ship boarding begins at noon
including lunch. At 4:00 p.m., the ship will depart from the New York
harbor and sail down the Hudson River where you will have views of the
city with its skyscrapers and bridges. You will then have time to begin
exploring the ship and its shops followed by a “Welcome Aboard”
dinner at your reserved tables.
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS...

PORTLAND,
MAINE...

features are cobblestone streets, red brick architecture, the Museum
of Art, and a harbor with fishing boats and island ferries. A short
distance away is Kennebunkport, a quaint seaport on the coast of Maine,
where many famous people have residences. Here you can see beautiful
Victorian-style mansions built over 200 years ago.
ST. JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK...
Where you can enjoy the cobblestone walkways and the natural beauty
of the city. Take a scenic tour along the Bay of Fundy to St. Andrews
where you will marvel at the natural wonders in the Fundy National Park.

American Canadian province is, especially in the fall of the year. You
may even spot some whales and dolphins along the coastline.
