LONDON
and PARIS are two of the most exciting cities in Europe known for their
unique history and elegance. In London you can visit Buckingham Palace,
the Tower of London, see a live theater performance and ride in a double-decker
bus. You’ll also travel on the exciting Eurostar Train from London to
Paris that’s known as one of the most beautiful and romantic cities
in the world. Breakfast is included with plenty of sightseeing and free
time to enjoy each city.
THE ITINERARY WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
Nov. 2 Today, everyone
will fly overnight from their hometown to LONDON, ENGLAND. Enjoy dinner
and a movie as you cross the Atlantic Ocean.
Nov. 3 Arrive LONDON and
transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day will be free to start exploring
this exciting city with over 2,000 years of history. Tonight there will
be a Welcome Dinner with a Brother from London who will inform you of
our work in England.
Nov. 4 Today you will
tour London. See the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar
Square, Westminster Abbey, Picadilly Circus, the Houses of Parliament,
Big Ben and more. (See Awake 10/10 p. 17)
Nov. 5 Travel through
the English countryside to the historic town of Royal Windsor for a
visit to Windsor Castle. Balance of the day will be at leisure.
Nov. 6 Free day to do
as you please. You can shop, visit the British Museum or the Tower of
London to see the crown jewels that date back some 900 years. You can
also take the train to tour the London Bethel Home. Be sure to visit
the famous Harrod’s Department Store or take a cruise on the River Thames.
Try some fish and chips in an English Pub. Nearby is Stratford-Upon-Avon,
the birthplace of William Shakespeare.
Nov. 7 An exciting day
as you board the Eurostar Train and travel the countryside through the
“Chunnel” to Paris. This is history in the making as it’s only three
hours from London to Paris, including 20 minutes under the English Channel
traveling at 180 mph. Transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day free
to enjoy Paris.
Nov. 8 Today we have included
a tour of Paris. See the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Opera House,
Notre Dame Cathedral, and then everyone will take the elevator up the
Eiffel Tower for a spectacular view. Afternoon will be free to do as
you please.
Nov. 9 Free day for optional
tours to the Louvre Museum to see the Mona Lisa painting or to visit
the magnificent Versailles Palace and the Hall of Mirrors. You can take
a one hour cruise on the River Seine, go shopping or just enjoy lunch
at a sidewalk café. Even Disneyland Paris is nearby.
Nov. 10 Transfer to the
Paris Airport for the return flight to your home city. |
