On
this exciting tour, you’ll see the beautiful countryside and castles
that makes Spain a popular country to visit, plus you will spend a day
in Morocco on the African continent. Besides sightseeing, breakfast
is included daily plus four dinners and a lunch in Africa.
THE ITINERARY WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
Oct. 31 Everyone will
fly overnight from their hometown city to MALAGA, SPAIN. Enjoy dinner
and a movie as you cross the Atlantic Ocean.
Nov. 1 Arrive Malaga and
transfer to your hotel in the resort town of Torremolinos on the Costa
del Sol. Tonight there is a “Welcome Dinner” to meet all the friends
who will be traveling with you on this tour.
Nov. 2 Today you will
see the highlights of this Mediterranean city and the famous coastline,
including dinner. Afternoon will be at leisure.
Nov. 3 Today you’ll explore
the mountainous region of RONDA. This picturesque town sits high above
the canyon with a plunging river gorge below. It is the loveliest and
most historical town in Spain. The views and its high bridges are incredible.
This bridge took 42 years to build and is over 200 years old that links
the two sides. It is one of the most photographed old towns in all of
Spain. You’ll also see other quaint little villages that are spectacular
as they are hanging on the edge of cliffs.
Nov. 4 Free day to shop,
enjoy the beach or take an optional tour to the city of Seville that’s
over 2,000 years old and known for its beautiful Palaces and unusual
Moorish architecture.
Nov. 5 A day to remember
as you drive to ALGECIRAS to board a ferry and cross the Mediterranean
Sea to the city of TANGIER in Morocco, Africa. You now go back in time
as you enter a different world. Walk through the Kasbah where you’ll
find Moroccan leather, jewelry and handmade rugs. You can even take
a camel ride in this Land of Legion. Visiting Morocco on the African
continent is an experience you will not forget. On the way back, you’ll
see the famous Rock of Gibraltar. Dinner is included at the hotel.
Nov. 6 Depart on a scenic
drive to GRANADA for a tour of the city before checking into your hotel
for the last two nights in Spain. Dinner tonight will be on your own
to enjoy some of the local specialties in this hilltop town.
Nov. 7 Today you’ll tour
one of the most remarkable fortresses ever built, the Alhambra. Explore
this exquisite Palace built by the Moors as a royal summer residence
in the 13th century. It was made of cut stone surrounded by exotic gardens
and fountains that are unbelievable. Tonight, you will enjoy a special
“Farewell Dinner” as your Spain and Africa Tour comes to an end.
Nov. 8 Transfer to the
Malaga airport for your return flight home. |
