Each
year Friends from everywhere have enjoyed sailing from San Juan, Puerto
Rico in ideal warm weather to the heart of the tropics. Everyone will
fly to SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO to board Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s
“Adventure of the Seas” to spend one week visiting the islands of ST.
THOMAS, ST. KITTS, CURACAO and ARUBA. This floating resort is longer
than three football fields, with three swimming pools, an ice skating
rink, a climbing wall and a large outdoor movie screen where you can
watch movies in the daytime or under the stars. Optional tours will
be available on each of the islands. Make your own airline reservations
to San Juan or call our office for the cruise line airfare. You can
also spend some time before or after the cruise in San Juan as there
are many attractions to visit. Just the food and entertainment alone
are worth the price of this cruise!
THE ITINERARY WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
Mar. 3 You can board the
ship any time in the afternoon, as the ship does not depart San Juan
until 8:00 p.m. Separate dining room tables will be reserved just for
our group of friends from around the country.
Mar. 4 Your cruise ship
will spend a full day in ST. THOMAS. A beautiful island surrounded by
crystal clear waters and one of the best ports in the world for buys
on jewelry, china, perfume and cameras. There is much to see as you
tour the island. The beach in Megens Bay is one of the ten most beautiful
in the world. Tonight you are invited to the Captain’s cocktail reception
and dinner.
Mar. 5 Visit ST. KITTS
, a unique island with dormant volcanoes, sandy beaches and gorgeous
green hills. Here you can take one of the most beautiful train rides
in the world to learn the history and listen to the island music sung
by the natives.
Mar. 6 A “FUN DAY AT SEA”
to relax and enjoy all the ship’s facilities including the three swimming
pools, hot tubs, plenty of sun deck space and outdoor movies.
Mar. 7 Today, you will
enjoy CURACAO known as the “Amsterdam of the Caribbean”, a shopper’s
paradise where perfumes and embroidery are sold at bargain prices. Watch
the Venezuelan schooners selling their fruits and vegetables.
Mar. 8 Arrive in ARUBA,
a beautiful island 15 miles off the coast of Venezuela, South America.
Enjoy Oranjestad, a charming Dutch city with quaint colorful houses
and known for its powder-white beaches and duty-free shopping.
Mar. 9 “FUN DAY at SEA”
with plenty of activities or just relax and enjoy the sun. Dress up
for the “Farewell” banquet as the chefs prepare a surprise dinner.
