Fall Foliage Cruise

This is the 15th year we are offering a Fall Foliage Cruise, that features the brilliant colors of Fall. This one week cruise is on one of the largest ships, the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines “SERENADE OF THE SEAS.” Experience a northeastern autumn when the trees are bright red and the warmth of the summer is still in the air. You will enjoy visiting the exciting ports of BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS PLUS PORTLAND AND BAR HARBOR, MAINE; INCLUDING THE EXCITING PORTS OF SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK AND HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA IN CANADA PLUS SPENDING TWO FULL DAYS AT SEA. There will be plenty of fun things to do on this floating resort including spectacular views along the coastline of New England and Canada’s Maritime Provinces. Be sure to bring your camera to capture nature’s bright colored flowers and trees. In the evenings, enjoy Broadway musical performances in the showroom. Make your own airline reservations to and from Boston, Massachusetts or call our office for the cruise line airfare including round-trip transportation to the ship. Just the food and entertainment alone are worth the price of this one week Fall Foliage Cruise that takes place only once a year. Each evening separate dining room tables will be reserved for our group of Jehovah’s Witnesses so you can get acquainted with Friends from around the country. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included daily in the three-level dining room or at one of the buffets. There are also several specialty restaurants featuring French, Italian, Japanese and a steak house for a nominal surcharge. Since there will be several other Friends sailing on this cruise, we suggest making reservations NOW as only a limited amount of cabins have been reserved for this date and our last cruise was SOLD OUT.

BOSTON… founded in 1630, is one of the country’s oldest cities known for its rich history and historical sites.

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA… a city founded 250 years ago, noted for its history and charming waterfront. Browse through the shops and the Maritime Museum with many Titanic artifacts. You can take an optional Tour to Peggy’s Cove and Lighthouse, one of Canada’s most photographed fishing villages. The amazing Fall colors are like a beautiful painting and will be something you will long remember.

SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK… located on the Bay of Fundy where every day it has both the highest and lowest tides in the world. Browse through the town or take a scenic Tour to St. Andrews to marvel at the natural wonders in Fundy National Park. This Eastern Seaboard is a reminder of how beautiful this Canadian province is, especially during the fall season. You may even spot some whales and dolphins along the coastline.

BAR HARBOR, MAINE… is known for one of the most spectacular 27-mile coastal scenic drives, to the top of the Cadillac Mountain, the highest peak on the Eastern Seaboard. Besides the many shops and boutiques, you will see charming Victorian mansions built by America’s rich and famous at the turn of the century. Try a lobster roll for lunch. Take an optional Lobster Boat Excursion or a drive through the Acadia National Park with beautiful views of the harbor.

PORTLAND, MAINE… is a picturesque, historic and lively city filled with character and known for its spectacular rocky coastline with lighthouses dating back over 200 years. You can take a scenic drive through the charming coastal village of Kennebunkport with its stunning mansions built by wealthy sea captains and merchants in the 1800’s. The streets are lined with galleries, boutiques and cafés overlooking the harbor. Visit the waterfront to see lobster men off-load their catches. This is where you will find a variety of seafood shops with the freshest delicacies from the sea. You can also take a Cog Railway Tour or a fascinating trolley ride to see the city, including the famous lighthouse.
