Each year Friends from everywhere have enjoyed sailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico in warm weather to the heart of the tropics. Everyone will fly from their hometown to SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO to board Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines “Adventure of the Seas” to spend one week visiting the popular islands of ST. MAARTEN, ST. KITTS, ANTIGUA, ST. LUCIA and BARBADOS. This ship is longer than three football fields, with three swimming pools, an ice skating rink, a rock climbing wall and a large outdoor movie screen where you can watch movies in the daytime or under the stars. Optional tours will be available on each of the islands. Make your own airline reservations to San Juan or call our office for the cruise line airfare. Feb. 24 You can board the ship any time, as the ship does not depart San Juan until 8:00 p.m. Separate dining room tables will be reserved just for our group of Jehovah’s Witnesses from around the country.
Feb. 25 Arrive in ST. MAARTEN where the island is half French and half Dutch. Visit the butterfly farm and explore Marigot, known for its sidewalk cafés and shops.
Feb. 26 This morning you will arrive in ST. KITTS, a unique island with dormant volcanoes, sandy beaches and gorgeous green hills. Here you can take one of the most beautiful train rides in the world to learn the history of the Island while traveling over bridges and canyons and listening to island music.
Feb. 27 Today’s highlight is ANTIGUA in the Leeward Islands, with 365 different beaches. Take a historical tour to visit the ancient ruins and Nelson’s Dockyard filled with shops, museums and art galleries. Tonight enjoy a special dinner and a Broadway musical performance in the ship’s showroom.
Feb. 28 Full day in ST. LUCIA to tour the island, see banana plantations and the Pitons, the famous twin peaks with their sheer cliffs. Shop for bargains on jewelry.
Mar. 1 Arrive in BARBADOS, a British island like England with its British architecture. See cotton fields and sugar cane plantations when touring the island. Visit the Coconut Rum Distillery or have afternoon tea in true British Tradition.
Mar. 2 “Fun Day at Sea” with plenty of shipboard activities, or just relax on the open sun deck, swim, read or watch a movie. Dress up for tonight’s “Farewell” Banquet as the chef’s prepare a surprise dinner with singing waiters.
Mar. 3 Arrive back in San Juan this morning to board your return flight home.
All of the ships activities will keep you busy including Broadway musicals and other entertainment. Each morning you’ll wake up to sunny Caribbean days gazing at an emerald island and a blue sapphire sea. Don’t miss this inexpensive cruise!
CRUISE ONLY INCLUDES: All meals, which means no food to buy for a week, lots of entertainment and your choice of an inside cabin without a window or an oceanview cabin with a picture window. All of the balcony cabins have a private lanai overlooking the ocean so you can sit outside and enjoy a morning coffee.
