Friday, July 15 Illinois International Travel will arrange a flight from your city to New York’s Newark Airport. Then transfer by hotel shuttle service to the Courtyard by Marriott Newark Elizabeth Hotel where you will meet Friends from many other parts of the country. Balance of the day will be free to do as you please.

Saturday, July 16 Buffet breakfast is included at the hotel, followed by a sightseeing Tour of New York City. Your Tour Escort will point out such sights as the Empire State Building, Times Square, 5th Avenue, Central Park, Wall Street, Ground Zero, and more. In the afternoon there will be an interesting Bible Tour given by Brothers from Oasis Tours in New York at the Metropolitan Museum of Art located by Central Park. Before the Tour begins, there is time for you to enjoy an optional light lunch followed by an encouraging Tour highlighting many Biblical points. At 5:00 p.m., you will return to the hotel. One of New Jersey’s largest indoor outlet malls with department stores, restaurants, and a food court is located down the street from your hotel.

Sunday, July 17 Entire day and evening free to enjoy New York City. Go to the top of the Empire State Building, Times Square, Macy’s Department Store or take in a live performance at a Broadway theater.

Monday, July 18 This morning visit the new World Headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Warwick where the work for over 100 Branch Offices is coordinated. This is the home of the Governing Body which handles all of the materials related to the preaching activity worldwide.There will be three separate (self-guided) Tours. One, called “World Headquarters—Faith In Action.” After the Tours, enjoy your included box lunch before traveling into Manhattan. The balance of the day and evening will be at leisure. You may want to take an optional boat cruise to see the Statue of Liberty and view all the Society’s former buildings from the boat as you pass under the Brooklyn Bridge. At 5:00 p.m., you have the option to return to the hotel or remaining in Manhattan to do as you please.

Tuesday, July 19 This morning everyone will check out of the hotel and travel to Patterson to Tour the Educational Center and then to Wallkill for a Tour of the printing factory, where we will pause to enjoy a box lunch. Following these two Tours, you will depart to Binghamton, NY and stay overnight at the Doubletree Hotel.

Wednesday, July 20 After breakfast travel to Niagara Falls and stay two nights at the Sheraton on the Falls Hotel, Canada, overlooking the thundering Falls. Tonight, you may want to enjoy an optional group dinner at the top of the world famous revolving Skylon Tower for breathtaking views of the Falls and fireworks.

Thursday, July 21 Free day to visit the many attractions, as this is one of the top destinations in the world. There are several areas to view the Falls, or you can take an optional one-hour cruise for an exciting encounter of the Falls. You will feel the mist and the sight of water falling from above. This is a magnificent experience and a photographer’s dream. Raincoats are provided. (See Awake, 7/8/01, p. 25) Tonight, you may want to attend a meeting at the local Kingdom Hall.

Friday, July 22 Drive to the Canadian Branch Office to Tour the facilities and see the new press now printing 5 million magazines a week in 30 languages. A box lunch is included in the picnic area. Later, check into the downtown Toronto Marriott Courtyard Hotel for two nights. Balance of the day at leisure for sightseeing or a walk to the largest indoor shopping mall in Canada.

Saturday, July 23 Free day to enjoy the optional Hop-on Hop-off Trolley Tour of Toronto. See the museums, CN Tower, Casa Loma Castle, Toronto Zoo, St. Lawrence Marketplace and many other attractions.
